Virtual Happy Hour: Cape Florida Banding Station Insights

Join the Phoebes on Tuesday, November 17th, via Zoom for another virtual happy hour! This month we'll delve even deeper into this year’s fall migration under the guidance of expert bird bander Michelle Davis. Michelle co-founded the Cape Florida Banding Station on Key Biscayne in 2002 and has been monitoring an impressive array of neotropical migrants that pass along the Atlantic Flyway every year, many of which she and her volunteers have banded! Michelle will not only share the station’s 2020 highlights, but will also talk about the history of the station and its new collaboration with Tropical Audubon Society to ensure the future of this important community science project.

We look forward to catching up!
