Join us for the first Phoebes Birding overnight camping trip featuring a Saturday evening presentation by a park naturalist around the campfire ring. Afterwards our guide will take us onto the nature trails in search of Eastern Screech-Owls as well as other nocturnal critters that live in the park. Later we will gather around the campfire ring for s’mores and more.

Sunday morning we will rise early for a bird walk exploring the park’s native hardwood and pine rockland habitats. We will search for winter songbirds as well as year-round resident birds. We may even see some of South Florida’s exotic species such as the vibrant Blue and Yellow Macaws, raucous Orange-winged Parrots and the striking Spot-breasted Oriole.

This field trip is open to all female nature enthusiasts whether you’re a seasoned birder or have never been on a bird walk or camping.

NOTE: For our security there will be a police officer on patrol at the park. Also, campers will be required to sign a release form.

This trip is limited to 15 campers. RSVP’S will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Camping fee is $10 per person due when you sign up.
